"You can dance in the storm. Don't wait for the rain to be over before because it might take too long. You can do it now. Wherever you are, right now, you can start, right now; this very moment." – Israelmore Ayivor
People say life is beginning to return to normal. This is both a mantra and a prayer. But when I hear the phrase “new normal” batted around in articles, blogs, and conversations beyond count, I wonder: If it is new, has it had time to become normal? Should we even call it normal, understanding that “normal” means “normative”? This is not mere semantics. There is a lot at stake. I prefer to reflect upon how the elusive post-pandemic life is going to be more life-giving? How has the Pandemic impacted you in ways that open up new possibilities? What did you learn about the creative, resilient parts of yourself during this time?
Many of you are revaluating your life and work. Is work as fulfilling as you want? Is it time for a career move? Maybe you want more time with family. There are so many options. But how do you utilize your experiences over the past year and a half in ways that are both positive and life-altering? Do you even know where to start? If you are having trouble evaluating what changes are important and how to make them, I invite you to work with a coach who can assist you in creating the life you want and who will support you in making those changes. As a coach who loves the journey of discovery, this is one of my greatest joys. If you are interested in learning more about coaching, contact me for a complimentary coaching session.
